Runescape overview
Runescape money, runescape gold
Runescape is a Java-based game from Jagex Limited that is becoming more and more popular to kids and even with adults. You can play for free or you could purchase for a membership and you'd open the door to a much bigger world with lots of things to do with more adventures and missions to take. Once you have played Runescape, it is most likely that you'd get hooked right away.
Runescape is like a little world where you get to meet lots of other Runescape players and you could travel their little world together or fight giants, dwarves, knights and a lot more. If you wish to join Runescape, it is best to first join for free so you have time to train first in order to get stronger so whenever you start becoming a paid member, you're already strong enough to fight the much stronger enemies and earn more gold or get better weapons that are dropped by these monsters. It's a never-ending fun as it feels like you are actually living a life in the Runescape world.
You could travel around their islands and fight monsters or accomplish a mission. Free members have a list of missions too that each has a reward to offer once you have accomplished each task. You could train for fishing on different fishing areas all over Runescape and you'd get to catch different types of fish as well. You could catch shrimps, tunas, lobsters, swordfish and a lot more depending on the fishing area that you are in so it's great to take note of these areas especially if you have gained enough experience that you could start catching lobsters and swordfish already. As you train harder for fishing, each catch once perfectly cooked will add a certain amount of points to your life during combat. Shrimps add the lowest points while the swordfish add the highest points on free members. Of course if you are a paid member, you could get a much better catch with a much higher points to add to your life during combat. Sharks are members only item and when you catch sharks, you can't sell it or exchange it to other items if you are on a free world.
Basically, Runescape players are training to power up and increase their skills and strengths, defense and life. Also, in Runescape and even in real world, you would enjoy your life more if you have more money. There are lots of ways to earn money in Runescape. You can smith some weapons and sell it to other players or you could cut trees and sell it to member players. Yews cost a lot, about 250 to 300 gold coins each so when you reach level 60, you could start chopping yews and sell it for great profit. When you hit level 60, chopping yews would take a lot of time. A rune axe would be a great help but then it would still take a lot of time to get a single yew wood from the yew tree so most members prefer to chop willows instead. Willows sell for about 20 to 30 gold coins each but they are much quicker to cut compared to yews and you level up a lot quicker while chopping willows. If you're not new to playing Runescape, you would notice that in places where yew trees grow, there are lots of level-3 bots that are chopping yew trees. This is an illegal way to earn money in Runescape and you should report these members to make the whole Runescape world a lot cleaner as these bots would immediately get banned. Of course, silly players would still register more and more level-3 members and train them to cut down yew trees using an auto cutter program, but Runescape is doing everything it can to ban as much bots as possible with your help.
As a free member, the real fun starts when you are strong enough to fight other players. Fighting monsters is fun but they're there to drop some random items and a few gold coins and to increase your experience only. The real fun really starts when you start fighting one another. In the free world, you are only allowed to fight other players in the woods. As you go farther to the North, you would eventually reach the woods where members battle it out to get the other player's items when they die. Some players gang together so they'd get a lot stronger and they'd focus on fighting a single, lonely player so it dies quicker then they would divide the items amongst themselves. It's great to join a team when you go into the woods so you have much higher odds of killing some lonely members who wish to fight. You can only fight members who has a fighting level that is of almost equal to yours but the difference increases as you go deeper into the woods. For example, if you are a level 37 fighter and you have stepped on level 1 woods, you could fight other fighters who are level 36, 37 and 38. If you step on level 2 woods, you could fight levels 35, 36, 37, 38 and 39 fighters. Also, fighters vary in style. Some are mages while some are archers and warriors. It's great to train for all of this so you could just change from being a mage to an archer or to a warrior. Mages and archers can hit you even at a distance. This is a great advantage especially if you want to fight other players in the woods as you could still hit them when they are already trying to escape.
The free world can get a bit too crowded even with the many free worlds in Runescape. This is because more and more members are joining in so it's definite that you'd bump into other players wherever you go in the free world. This can be irritating especially if you want to fight a monster all by yourself. In a member's world, it's totally different. There are a lot of members logging in on the members world too but since the members' world is too wide, you wouldn't often get to bump to other players especially if you have traveled to distant islands already.
Training is really important if you want your fighter to be really strong. Giants are great as they drop large bones when they are killed and they also drop some gold coins and other random items plus you get good experience from fighting the giants. Large bones are great moneymaking items too as they are worth about 200 to 300 gold coins each as well. Training for your prayer points is also an important factor if you want to be a strong player. You could protect yourself from different attacks or you could speed up your recovery from a battle through praying. You could train and increase your prayer level by burying bones. Also, when your prayer points have been totally consumed, praying at an altar would get it back to maximum.
Trading goods is common in Runescape. You'd see lots of players selling some of their items for gold or in exchange for other items. If you want to sell your yews, large bones or other items to other players, it is best if you log in to world 1. In world 1, free members and paid members gather together for trading. Go to the west bank in Varrock and you'd see it's crowded with members who are shouting out what they are selling and what they wish to buy. You could get great deals here as long as you are patient enough to find a member who'd pay you the right price for your items. Of course there are lots of members who'd try to pay you much less so if you're in a hurry, you'd end up getting less than what you deserve.
Lots of scams happen in Runescape too so you got to be careful especially during trading. Some would show you the right amount of gold coins but during the exchange they would decrease this value and you got no way of getting back your item. For example, 100,000 gold coins will show 100k during trading so you might think that it's the right amount and you clicked on accept but the scammer would change the 100k to 10k and if you didn't double check, you would end up losing 90k on that trade. When things like this happen, you need to report it immediately so that Runescape mods can check the dealings and could ban the other player.
Runescape is really a fun game to play and it can get really addictive. You could meet good friends in Runescape too. You'd get loads of fun playing Runescape and playing for free is really amazing. It's a great way to waste your time and enjoy a whole new mini-world.
